To Our Patients:
I am writing this letter with mixed emotions. As I mark my 39th year practicing Pediatrics, I have made the difficult decision that it is time for me to retire. I deeply appreciate the trust that you have placed in me, and it has been an honor to be part of your families, taking care of the children I have grown so fond of.
I am retiring as of March 1, 2025. Between now and March 1st, I will be fully available to my families and will work to help you make a smooth transition to the care of my partners at La Peer Pediatrics. Our electronic health record system will ensure that the physicians in our office will have comprehensive information about your child’s health history and the care they received from me. Our staff and I are committed to making this transition as easy as possible for you.
As a Pediatrician, I have always tried to help children lead their lives in the healthiest way possible, guiding parents to care for them in ways that felt right for their families. Mainly, it has been about relationships for me. I hope that I have provided that for you. I know you have given that to me. Thank you for your trust in me all these years. It means everything. Wishing all of us the best of health and happiness in our respective journeys.
Warmly,
Judith Weiner MD

An important message from the physicians at La Peer Pediatrics regarding our stance on vaccines.
Vaccines are a very important part of your child’s health and the physicians at our practice would like to remind parents who choose us as their child’s doctors, that we follow the American Academy of Pediatrics Recommended Child & Adolescent Immunization Schedule. Getting your child vaccinated on time is the best way to keep them healthy. Choosing alternate vaccine schedules or choosing not to vaccinate your child puts them at risk for serious illnesses, illnesses that can be prevented. Caring for your child and providing proper medical care is our job, and we take it very seriously. Children need to get their vaccines on time so they can benefit from the protection they provide. The recommended schedule is designed to work best with their immune systems at various ages. This is based on complete, science-based information. We feel very strongly about this and are unable to work with families who will not agree to following the AAP recommended schedule. Please speak with your doctor if you have more questions.
